Yellowstone Moran book is really exciting for me to create. My parents are wildlife photographers and I grew up spending long hours sitting still in wildlife blinds, waiting for animals to appear. It was often cold, Bum-numbing, and with mosquitoes so thick that he could drive a person mad. We had to sit quietly while we watched. Do not have a camera myself, I often brought a sketchbook and wrote and drew the animals we saw.

Although I now use instead of oils, watercolors, the principles are the same, and it was a joy to withdraw to the new bridge on the ground and painting on location throughout the Yellowstone....
