Fun babysitting thanksgiving snacks to make for the kids?

Nov 26, 2008 by k i a n a | Posted in Thanksgiving

I babysit for my little cousins a lot, I'm actually watching them right now while my aunt and uncle are at the mall. [ they're occupied at the moment ] And I wanted some cool easy and fun to make treats with them. Nothing too hard, but also something that would be fun for them. It's thanksgiving tomorrow and I want to do something themed too.

Any ideas?

food:
brownies are pretty easy. cook a sheet of brownies according to the directions. once the brownies are cool. take pumpkin pie filling (make sure u get ur aunt/uncle to approve of this since they may want to use that for dinner tomorrow) and pour the filling over the brownies. cook in the oven for 5-10 minutes and then once cool cut into squares. they're really good!

game:
make classic hand turkeys like 10 per child and have them write their names on it.
then they have to sit on the couch, or in a room, with their eyes closed
then you hide the turkeys and they have to find them and the first one to find all of theirs (without accidently collecting another siblings) wins.

you can play the game while the pumpkin-brownies are baking.

:) i hope this helps, i love my cousins.

Soulja Boy Thanksgiving Fun!

Soulja Boy Crankin it on thanksgiving then getting caught by police lol!

stuff

Grady So this morning I had to take Grady to have this Bloodwork another fact (the thyroid stuff), I dreaded. But he did very well and charmed everyone at the hospital. I swear I heard "he is soooo cute!" about 1000 times. I do not know if he just took particularly cute or anything lately, because I suddenly understood that everything I was doing when he was a baby. Anyway, after I have targeted to pick up a small toy.I'm so with a tender, but I felt so bad he should have done this, then had to go back. I can not believe that, although I tell him that we were going to the hospital and be very honest, he remained very calm. He asked many questions, but it is only normal for him. He even made a trip to the bathroom while we were there, and was dry all morning (as was every day of the week - It took a couple of accidents in the post - even twelve o'clock). In any case, I will keep you all updated on the test results.Travel There are so many things with it. Firstly, I bought a travel guide to Puerto Rico yesterday, when G and I were in the library for story time. It opened my eyes to different areas of the island, and we intend to remain present in the southwestern part of the island, near Ponce. The beaches are supposed to be the best there, and although it is far from the rainforest, it is near other natural areas unbelievable. I remember enjoying the area as a child too. Then I will go to church only for about 4 days in early October, but for several days before you leave, we will assist Eric in Atlanta for a meeting of directors. I'll come back the day before my departure, so be mad. and G is missing a small school, but it should be fun....
