what happened to Thanksgiving decorations?

Oct 14, 2007 by debbiecc01 | Posted in Thanksgiving

Some years ago the store used to sell decorations for Thanksgiving. Now its right to Halloween and Christmas. I love Halloween, but why is not a big deal of grace in the sets too? Where can I find really cool decor thanks to my porch?

I agree with you ... Our Wal Mart has 5 aisles of Halloween decorations and about 15 aisles of Christmas decorations ... with only half and collateral for Thanksgiving. I wish I could find decorations for Thanksgiving. It's like stores simply ignore Thanksgiving and rush straight to Christmas.

Thanksgiving Decorations Kids Can Make

Need a centerpiece and an hour of peace and quiet? These activities may be perfect for both!

Fall Approaches!

The days have been the most wonderful time, even if covered. There was a sudden drop in temperature, and it was cool, even this past weekend. I loved it! It made me want to drag out the Halloween decorations, but I resisted because it was still August. Although I enjoy my vacation, I'm not rushing into things. I hate when people skip Thanksgiving. Christmas is not until December, folks! Anyway, it was so wonderful to keep the windows open. As much as I appreciate central air for once, I prefer not to use it.Granted, that requires appropriate conditions, outdoor, one more reason why I can not wait to go somewhere without summers miserable. Only one more to go far! Unfortunately, I know it's only temporary ... there will certainly warmer weather to come before the autumn arrives in force. Things here have been steadily plugging along. No real change and deserve to be mentioned. Work continues on, and my classes are now underway. The seminars should be fine, mainly because they are small and I like people. My class on Wednesday afternoon, Design of clinical and research promises to be boring, but to survive. It's just too ingrained. That's almost 2.5 hours, and we're in a dungeon type Auditorium. After moving to the clinic, I do not sit well through conferences lasting more than an hour. Well, at least I'm not taking any courses this semester. The work is very different. I started (slowly) writing a paper, which is slightly overwhelming, but a good experience. It is astonishing how long it might take to organize the data and my sample size is only 42! In addition, I am not done yet sophisticated statistical analysis of such things!Oh well, it is nevertheless interesting, and I finally got things organized in a coherent and presentable. I stayed at home today to "write" even if I am unable to function....
