As if on cue, North Carolina has welcomed the first day of September with a background of air, clear blue skies, a slight angle on the sun and a few yellowing leaves from their seasonal homes. Exactly as I remember.
There are very few people, places, concepts and / or things that I love as much as I love fall. I mean that. I do not like chocolate as much as I love fall, I do not like members of my family as much as I love fall, I do not like puppies or kittens or any other animal as much as I love the fall. And fall just seems to make everything better.A roadtrip is suddenly a magical adventure full of colors and smells, a kayak trip is now a quiet stroll through a canvas electric ... is the only time of year I become pathetic and romantic incessantly about everything. Hell, I even called my cat Benjamin October. And this year I finally get to make the most as I'm back in a city that has lush green foliage! Hooray!
Anyway, I sat around in anticipation of the passage of seasons ahead and realized I was just compiling a list of things I love. Thus, in the spirit of global energy changing (although you Aussie readers go to a different kind of pretty. Except those of Melbourne, you guys get each season every day.) I thought back to how childhood and make one of these poems Elementary School cheesy when you write "[Noun] Is it ..." and write the whole subject reminds you. It's fun, really Kinda.

It's my fave!I am 40 years old mom of three young girls (17, 11, 8), wife of Randy (45) and are considering a move to Sanford or the surrounding area in about three years. WHEREAS I say, because we were back on the move for a long period. Long story there. Anyway, we'll visit your country sometime in June 2010. I enjoy reading your blog. Nice to meet you!...
