What's the significance of rubber eggs at Mardi Gras?
Feb 07, 2008 by Mr Funk | Posted in Other - Holidays
One of my friends was there to party in New Orleans on Mardi Gras where she received an egg with rubber as a gem (I do not think he was thrown from a float). We know the traditions around the bead throws ... Is there a meaning or significance to the rubber egg, or is it just another jewel? Thank you in advance!
just another jewel - any more than they have ever laid a real egg! you should have also got a little rubber cigar!
