Does anyone know a retail store that sells candles for Kwanzaa?

Nov 27, 2007 by tdakoo | Posted in Kwanzaa

I need a common store (Wal-Mart, Target, CVS, etc. ..) that sells sets of Kwanzaa candles. I know they are available in specialty stores but they are often inaccessible and expensive. Anyone know?

Poooor Liberal Slayer, you can not cope. The shoe seems to be on the other foot. It's awsome to know how you feel like such a worthy celebration. Your daughter-F attended the celebration last year and loved it. Are you joining the celebration this year? You can buy the items you need in some Dollar General stores. This is where most people get them for a reasonable price. At least in our region.

When I realized that we [Jews] have something better [that the traditions of Christmas].We fire. Think about it. The Spiel whole Hanukkah is lighting the menorah to commemorate the miracle of the lamp oil that lasted eight days. Little kids like me were given matches and told by candlelight. I remember standing mesmerized in front of the flames as my mother and my father gave us our gifts all night. It felt so dangerous. And in my book, just like rock beats scissors, danger beats flashy.
