Today is Day # 1 of what Mom called Joey's "Hanukkah Birthday" celebration. It does not mean he'll start wearing a yarmulke, but it is all a pile of gifts spread out over a whole bunch of days. Today (Saturday) was his big party for all friends and neighbors. He called her "Thomas party" because we went with the "Thomas The Tank Engine theme" per request of Joey. It was held at Junction Entertainment, we blogged about a few times. We had a big party area set aside for us with tables for our pizza, hot dogs, cake and ice cream. This is the first of what will surely be a wave of Joey rev-3. This cake Joey. Joey says Grandmother Amelia, "There's salty! There's Harvey!" It is a scene from "Brendan Docks, where crane favorite Joey, Cranky, lives. It is one of his books, Thomas, with all the appropriate characters: Cranky, who drops the tubes (pretzels here) on the tracks; HARVEY engine crane, the red to the left which moves the pipe; Salty the Dockyard Diesel, that red on the bottom that tells stories of the flat sea, and of course Thomas the Train Bleu. Oh, and Bulstrode the boat.
