Dec 06, 2008 by Just a girl! | Posted in Hanukkah

I would like to know what happens each day and why. I have books but he would appreciate an explanation from someone who celebrates this holiday. I am interested in the emotional side of the explanation also. Thank you!
I have a menorah a gift from Gd, and candles.

Chanukah begins on the night of 21.

who lights the candles on hanukkah?

is there a specific person who lights the candles? if so, who?

It is customary for everyone to light their own hanukiah - men, women, and children. If that is impractical or infeasible (for example, if you can only afford one hanukiah for your household), then one person can light for the whole family.

You Give Me Fever, Chapter Five

The Allen Lambert and families gathered in the sprawling house Kris and Adam's family for Thanksgiving. Kris' surprised him by showing up in greater number than he had expected. Not only his parents and brother came, but several of his cousins made the trip to Arkansas. Picking them all at the airport, Kris cried like a baby when he saw his grandmother being helped off the plane. Both families had a great time getting to know each other, Adam and Kris tortured by trading stories of their childhood, enjoying the lake and swimming pool, and eating too much personal preparation of food.In response to Katy Allen allegations against her husband, Amerian Idol Top Ten candidate Kris Allen, 19E wants to record straight regarding Mr. Allen and his colleagues contender Adam Lambert. American Idol publicist Jenny Ransford said that at the end of Hollywood week, Mr. Allen was diagnosed with fever of Bayard, and Mr. Lambert is his goal. She said that Mr. Allen has insisted that, although he was in denial of his homosexuality, he never violated his marriage vows. Ms. Ransford also stressed that the ex-MrsAllen remarried one month, shortly after his marriage to Kris Allen has been dissolved. "So, who cheated on whom?" Ms. Ransford wants to know. 19E would also like to apologize to fans of American Idol to be subject to clear way for the former Mrs. Allen's attention.
