Iron-on letters, peel-and-iron-on printer paper or fabric markers best for Halloween costume?

Oct 10, 2006 by WorkingGirl02 | Posted in Do It Yourself (DIY)

I put a fake FedEx costume for Halloween. The shirt is a dark purple and I want to FedEx (Fed orange, white Ex) on the shirt. Iron-on letters from a craft store can get quite expensive if I want to put the design on the front and both sleeves. The letters come in a box of 26, obviously, so write FedEx 3 times I need 6 packages due to the double E. Has anyone ever used colored fabric markers on a dark colored shirt? Would you recommend or not recommend a specific brand? Would he feel my printer for a peel and stick and iron on the paper work better?Has anyone ever used colored Peel and stick and iron on the paper on a dark-colored shirt? I just wanted to see if anyone had a success or disaster or the other option. Thank you!

Can anyone give me instructions on how to make Halloween luminaries out of paper bags and tea lights?

Oct 25, 2007 by rlgtmg | Posted in Hobbies & Crafts

The info I need is how to put the paper bags together to make the design.

Draw your design on the bag. Punch holes following the outlines. Put about 3" of sand or kitty litter in the bottom of the bag. Set the tea light into the sand or litter. Be careful when lighting it. Once they are lit, the light should show thru the punched holes, revealing the design.
