weekend: cleaning, errands, shopping, party, movies, sewing

Got up at 5:30 to take flight, then upstairs children started making noise, and I gave up and got up at 8am. Which proved to be a good thing, I had a head start on the day, but I struggled against sleep much.
I had a lot of bricks and mortar Shopping fail (LL Bean does not wear the black jeans that I wanted to try, but that's normal at the end, since the blue version was not comfortable anyway; Bed Bath and Beyond did not stock the martini glasses I wanted, and do not have the ability to ship to store free, if they arrive at home), but few victories (China Fair for small things, and Great for the bitter and tools).I also * finally * got my dress made origami, finish trim on the green just in time to head out to 's Pre-dance-party meet this finally be it own entity where everyone but him out wussed out into the damp night. I have to do a photo shoot to record my sewing projects completed so far this year: a winter hat, a cap to sleep (maybe two, I need to dig in my drawer PJ to ensure I did the black fleece too), my swimsuit to C15, curtains, bathroom, and origami dress leaves me with a project left in the resolution of my new year will be my Halloween costume .I am also of Hugo winners playlist, I'm on track with my films, always waiting on something green card (shit, I meant to call before 5pm today), and parkour / hspu are blocked due to injury (my arms are in sad sad shape). I could fill in the list Hugo first reading by others, or at least read all the candidates for 2009. But really, I get my shelf to read and should just enjoy reading time unstructured for the rest of the year.:)
In any case, made some homemade fig infused vodka and somehow I found myself with a second full cocktail made with it (and spicy scotch + bitters), and it was delicious. My first was St....
