how can i create fog to come out of my cauldron for halloween?

Oct 24, 2008 by smiley | Posted in Halloween

im throwing a little Halloween party for my children and friends this weekend. i cannot afford a $ 60 pot with gadgets, how can I make my own fog out of my boiler?

put dry ice in the (dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide and should be much colder than the water to melt). when it melts, it turns its back on gas, making the steam ". You can even put it in punch and still drink (it helps keep it cold).

dry ice

I do not remember the exact proportions and such, but I think you put a piece of dry ice with a little water. Dry ice is transferred directly from the solid (frozen) gas (fog) at room temperature - and you must be very careful handling to avoid burning yourself (freezing, actually) - but the ice dry is how this kind of fog is usually created.

Halloween! What is the best way to do a fog cauldron?

Oct 04, 2007 by MS.veronica | Posted in Halloween

I would like to do a fog cauldron this year for halloween, and I know I need dry ice and hot water.
The warmer the water the more fog that comes out I know if I put hot water and a chunk of ice it would be about 15 mins. then i would take out some water about a pitcher...add more hot water and another chunk of dry ice.

Anywho I was wondering...
1> is that correct
2>what is the best thing to hold the water and ice in?
3>a plastic black cauldren?

4>Have you ever done this? what do you recommend?

This guy did it old school: http://www.z7q2.com/cauldron/
