Christmas Crackers?

Dec 23, 2007 by Christopher P | Posted in Hobbies & Crafts

Is there a way to make the cracking of the case in Christmas crackers that make them snap. I do not have time to buy, and I want them by Christmas. I do mine. I also wonder if there is an alternative to "Cracker snaps" that can be easily done?

Oriental Trading has directed snaps in the past, but you do not find time for Christmas.

What are good items to include in homemade Christmas crackers?

Nov 15, 2007 by dragonfly7149 | Posted in Christmas

I make Christmas crackers from empty toilet paper rolls, wrapped in seasonal paper napkins, tied with ribbon on either end and decorated with additional ribbon, lace or other embellishments. Always include inspirational quotes and chocolate, but having trouble coming up with ideas for other small items to include that would be appropriate for adults and children, and not too costly. Looking for ideas...thanks!

Christmas candy is pretty cheap, find some nice candy to put in.For small children little girls like lip gloss, and nail polish which you can get for like under .50 cents and for boys cars are always nice they go for .94 cents

My sister in law made crackers for each person, with their name on it so each person got a little something they would like. Eg the girls got little lip balms or moisturisers, the guys got little bottles of liqour. Boys could get little cars and girls little teddy bears.

Bad Gratitude Monday (Wednesday Back-to-School Edition!)

Like most families of seven children, we are always on a tight budget, and as many stepfamilies, we were able to share with the many costs of our child-custodial parents. This year, however, the biological mother of four of our children decided to refuse to contribute to expenses for school supplies and clothing because - well, I do not know why. It is often bitter and angry, and I can not explain most of the things she does. In any event, our budget for half of the children's needs was certainly not going to cover everything they needed. Can I tell you, reader, I found a quiet and private bawling my eyes?Even if things were emotionally tense in the Wright household these days, it is the children that I remember the choice to spend a December collection cups dried soups, small bars of soap, mini-bottles of mouthwash and cheese and crackers packaged, which they assembled in packages of care. On Christmas Eve, we took the parcel in downtown Seattle and distributed them to homeless people. Seeing my blessing to other children who were less fortunate and praying with them is a vision that I do not remember quite often. How could I ever be cross with children so generous? Apples A tractor pulling made an abrupt turn on deck for a reason and broke the side of the bridge. The cab of the truck, broke and fell into the Columbia River. The driver, a 48-year old woman from Olympia, was the seat belted in. His body was found hours later. His driving partner, a male, was presumed dead and his body has not yet been removed from the river, despite extensive research of water and shoreline. Please pray for the families of these victims, and the body of the second victim was recovered quickly. Now I miss my class belly dancing for a few weeks and I can do my shopping in Wenatchee, but my children go to school Chelan....
