We are having a carnival and one of the games is breaking plates with balls....any ideas on how to set them up

I do not know what to use to hold the plates upright .. Thank you in advance ...

Ah, broken glass flying everywhere? I hope everyone wears safety glass, and do it on a tarp so that there will be no broken glass everywhere on the floor below. Anyway, you can get an adult to drill a hole in each plate, then hang them with S-hooks from a clothesline, or you can get a plate of some stands of the gift shop LoCall.

I have a broken carnival glass dish and want to make a mosiac plate how do I do it?

It is broken into many small peices. Would like it to have clear backing and monding for light to show through.

I guess I would start with a glass plate, and use a strong glue that dries clear to adhere the pieces in a pleasing arrangement on the plate. Then you'll need grout - available at lowe's. Follow the instructions on the package. And voila! You have yourself a mosaic plate.

Founder’s Day.

-----------

As I write this I am recovering only one of the hangovers of the most intense I've had since the year 2007, resulting in the issue, "Whyy.

The day was Founder's Day. A day when all the so-called super intelligent students of Vassar College to decide that it would be a pretty smart idea to get drunk at 9 o'clock in the morning and stay drunk all day, while enjoying carnival rides that circling fast and fried foods. Also hot dogs.

The day I was in New York, enjoying the last day of my internship, and thinking, "Wow adult life is so beautiful. You will work from 10am-6pm, pay many bills, use the subways to go to work and eat lunch alone on most days. "Unlike most people my age or even those older than me, I was not sarcastic when I said it. I do enjoy those things. Thus, I was a little disappointed to be back at Vassar tonight, and even more disappointed to learn that the day was the Founder's Day.

I spoke with my mother on the phone and told him my reasons for believing why getting drunk very early in the morning and stay all day, it was a bad idea, I do not think my body can handle this, I said, "More than I want to get drunk and brought up in the rides running with the same people I get drunk every week?

My mother said "oh well just enjoy the experience! Is one of the last time you'll be able to do this kind of thing. Just have fun!"

She probably said something along the lines of "you do not drink, just go and have fun!"

This is why Will Smith was right when he said: "Parents just do not understand."

How could I possibly participate without drinking? This is paradoxical. No part without drinking because of not drinking would not participate in Founder's Day.

Anyway, listening to my mother, and knowing what she really wanted to participate, I started the day six shots. Later that day, I finally found it was a bad idea....
