Meet the Relay - Congratulations to all members who participated - we just stopped breathing! Bravo to those who swam in the 280 + and 320 + teams, winning these categories.
In the process some of our teams have beaten the record of State and beat a couple of national records
Thank you again to our captains - Geraldine, Kerensa and Josh for a great effort to bring us all organized!!
Masters Level I Coaching Course - All members wish Heather Whitehead and Josh Hofer well in their current and ongoing work towards the pool of approval.
Black Swans Masters Swim Club - an update on this "club" - was formed for swimmers to enter the Masters Swimming Championships last year, and who will not join a club, based here in WA and can be viewed as a 2nd claim club for the regular club members who intend competing in meets overseas or interstate, and you want to join other swimmers train for WA relay members if not enough of their own club are traveling. There is interest from some clubs Perth Masters with a few members each, to the next Worlds in Sweden.They are eager to regroup and come over and swim under a possibly "WA" banner with uniforms to match. Wendy H., State Exec, will be in contact with clubs in the new year to see how interest is underway.
Open Water Swims schedule - are now available. There was a change in the allocation of points for the Series Dale Alcock - please check it out. All events organized by clubs Masters are included and the age groups were lined up - good news, Eli!
Be active day - on October 18th Sun, 1-3pm, we have 2 lanes to Beatty Park Pool - to show other swimmers and gain new members!...
