I am entering a carnival float in to a local parade?

The theme is Hammer House of Horror, I'd be very grateful if you could give me your ideas for themes, costumes, etc.? So guys what you think?

Building a mini replica of the house on the hill in the center of Psycho float.

The float around the top ten guys have bad horror movie. Freddie, Jason, Michael, Guy Texas Chainsaw Massacre, etc. Add the white mask face stretched film Scream. Also add Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolf Man and mummy. You can get Ten easy. And you'll be able to get ten friends to dress, each as the villain of choice.

If you really want some fun, add to the ten horror villains a guy in a suit and wearing a George Bush mask (or mask Hilary depending on the side where you want to satire). That would be hilarious.

If you live near Cleveland, I'll help you build the Psycho house. This sounds fun!

Enjoy.

Ideas for carnival float - theme is 40 Years Fact or Fiction?

Jul 16, 2008 by nikki f | Posted in Other - Entertainment

We will be doing a float in our local carnival with the theme of 40 Years Fact or Fiction.

We want fun ideas, which are simple but effective.

Thanks in advance!

Well you could do a flying saucer float(area 51-fact or fiction)
I think that was in 1968 or '9, so it's cutting it close

I'm not sure if it's a general theme, or related to your town.

OK, so I caved.

I think Pete's lonely.

I do not know why it would. I mean, it's not like at least a week ago he ate his only friend.

Wait, that's right ... Within a week he has eaten his only friend and now he pays the consequences of being by his lonesome all day.

I even said that I did not buy him a new fish. Nuh-huh. No matter how.

Knobs.

So now he sits in a bump down in his deck and looks at me. Sort for meals, but only lip service to poke the flakes that float down on his nose. It's depressing, let me tell you.

Since when a frog depress me? Because now, I suppose.

So, the hilarity of the situation is this:

The boy and I were in the German-American Festival this weekend, enjoying a good (but not great) beer (because he was not Irish), delicious food for people to observe the 'extreme. I scarfed a Wiener Schnitzel sandwich while some boys were walking by Frat, complete with pop-shirts, polo-neck accented with the boot of beer glasses shaped hanging from their necks by lanyards. He grabbed a bratwurst while a pair of mules and their attached rednecks had a pitcher of beer around their circle. We split some chips like two guys went with their guts spill beer on their lederhosen and feather perched jauntily in their felt hats.

Oh, Toledo. You kill me.

And then we stumbled on the area children's carnival rides. Spinning carnival rides are a good idea to stick in the middle of hundreds of adult beer guzzlers. Let's book a pitcher and hop on strawberries writhing in a circle faster and faster! Add a little grease on a bun and take a ride on the spinning wheel that you turn upside down. This just creates a new game: Aerobatic Vomit dodge.

In the middle even though I stopped and thought of nothing but Pete, because there, amid rows of small glass bowls filled with water, it was my chance to put some sunshine back into life my little frog. Or some food to his new little belly. Whatev....
