What do you think of my poem? All answers appreciated?

Carnival

Flashing lights glitter like stars in your eyes
Cotton candy breezes combing your hair
I follow the curve of your neck
As you turn your face to the sky
A mystery filled with promise tonight

Oh, and I'm 15. Thanks!

For 15 this is excellent. That doesn't mean it can't be tweaked. I like a lot of your choice of words, they provide a sort of somber mood with the description of the carnival as a counterbalance. I like that. But, and I'm not attempting to rewrite you, forgive me if you think this is too much, but perhaps it would read cleaner along these lines.

Flashing lights glitter--stars in your eyes,
cotton candy breezes comb your hair.
I follow the curve of your neck
when you turn your face to the sky;
mysteries filled with promise.

That being suggested, this is YOUR original work, and if you do not want it changed, you do not have to. It makes me happy to see budding poets. Don't let anyone discourage you.

it's a very pretty poem! but it's a bit cliche.

when writing poems, try and leave some of the imagination for the reader. it'll make the poem a lot more intriguing for the reader.

"Commenting on the presentation via the web site:" Amazon and offer discounts to chapters, so we need to be competitive with that . Of course, Amazon has warehouses and special offers and points of member but buy directly from us is the best way to support us. And you still get the book by mail."ChiZine Publications (CZP) is an independent, by invitation only publisher of weird fiction, dark subtle, surreal and disturbing.
