Apparel for Captain's Dinner on Carnival Cruise..Please help!?

Aug 01, 2006 by Sunnyshine | Posted in Cruise Travel

I'm not really a dress girl, but we will dine at the captain of a cruise, we go to Mars. I found several very dressed / formal pants / dress shirt that will certainly please. Does anyone know what the dress code is with the dinner and whether such equipment would be allowed? Thank you!

I think your dressy / formal pants would be held. I never saw jeans on the night of captain, but I have seen casual dresses. If you want to splurge, check the clearance racks at the end of December (stores will want to get rid of things New Year's Eve) You might even be able to pick up a skirt Nice. My last cruise I wore a small black formal dress I found on clearance for $ 20.00. Do not forget jewelry and dress shoes. I'll wear heels in and out of the room, but they have been known to wear them as much as I wear them. Nobody ever stopped me. You are going to LOVE Carnival! My favorite line.

Retro Muses & Rock n’ Roll

The musicians have enviable style. Perhaps it is the explosion of creativity that creates both an enigmatic stage persona and a trendsetter confident that pushes the envelope. Great style is timeless and we can learn much from our musical goddesses.

In my late teens I had a very retro phase where I was obsessed with reading Heart Blondie "glass" on full capacity again. (My poor neighbors). Blondie was hottt - platinum blond hair, red lipstick gloss and sensual voice. She broke her work on stage, one shoulder jersey dress or pants tight rocker & Skinny stilettos black varnish. I had a favorite pair of "pants Blondie" that I found in a vintage store Black Market - they were tight, his eyes wet black spandex (stretch like Olivia Newton was in the final scene of the Carnival of fat) straight outta 1978. Even if I was not rocking so, trousers always evoked the same response, "WTF are you wearing?" Haha. Catholic school on one days Civie's. if misunderstood.

Tunes Blondie: The Tide Is High, Rapture, Call Me Blondie modern After Dark: lurex tights from American Apparel coupled with a mini-shoulder tunic, leather shoes fierce declaration, lipstick

The disco diva in my book is Donna Summer. I could sing one of his songs at karaoke. Literally. D-Sum embodies the pomp and drama that is Studio 54. During a visit to New York, my travel partner in crime and T I used the classic "Bad Girls" (Toot! Toot! Ahh! Beep! Beep!) As the theme song.Dresses with spaghetti straps and ruffles chiffon layered which makes you want to twirl on the dance floor under the mirror ball is totally Donna. Or any other room that looks as if you accidentally swallowed a bag of glitter and then launched himself. It should be on the glamorous top!...
