Carl and Guy were married on July 3rd in the very backyard of the family home CARI.
It was a beautiful evening with some floral arrangements most amazing I've ever seen. If you take a look at the first page of their online proof album, you'll see pictures of these two huge flower balls sitting on top of glass pedestals. Never seen anything like them.Then there were the key pieces and artfully arranged pieces of accent color on the site of the ceremony ... I think that Carl told me that Lazy Daisy at Yorktown is the floral work. Carl and Guy also had a cake quite unique - three levels of delicious cheesecakes and cake. But my favorite thing about marriage is that I have learned to create a photo album for Mom's Curry! I'll toot my own horn here and say that I think is the best I've done yet, but ... Shannon and Wes, my next bride and groom, were married July 4.
Their marriage was drenched in tradition! Shannon and Wes ceremony took place in a church that had not been used since the 1970s. The church is located on property that was given in 1800 by the four great epochs Wes' grandfather in the Harlan Cemetery. I understand that Shannon and several friends and family members spent a lot of time cleaning the church and getting ready for the big day.Although it was a rainy day, tons of people packed the church to celebrate with the newlyweds. Thereafter, we drove just down the road to the family farm Wes' for the reception, held in the large barn on the property. I liked their choice of a song first dance: "Where the green grass grows" by Tim McGraw. The decor includes conventional tractors and antique trucks beet. Centerpieces were candles in Mason jars, and Shannon has used her favors as decorations too - small trees from the Arbor Day Foundation adorned with a little ribbon.Everything was rustic, but very chic and very faithful to Shannon and Wes style '. Shannon When I complimented on how beautiful everything was, she says she had a budget of $ 2700, but had pulled everything off for $ 1,600! I told her she must go into planning events!...
